These sensors also identify when an object is blocking the pathway of the door and stop the door from closing on the object or individual.

These sensors are ideal disabled access solutions for people in wheelchairs, people with trolleys or people who cannot pass through a doorway quickly due to low mobility. Applications include residential entrances, office and commercial spaces, department stores, shopping centres and commercial buildings.

  • Key Remote Access Devices

Wireless remote-control key access or key FOB devices can be used to open an automatic door from a distance. These devices provide an excellent assistive technology solution for disabled individuals who are not physically able to make contact with the door to open and close it. Using the key FOB devices allows users to pass easily and safely through the doorway before it shuts safely behind them.

  • Push Buttons, Keypads and Security Key Switches

Push buttons, keypads and security key switches can be used to open an automatic door for both the entry and exit side of the door. These electronic security devices come in a range of options.

    • Simple push-button in either black, white, green dome and red dome.
    • Security keypads with combination keypad entry and backlit illumination for after-hours use.
    • Security key switches allow for the keyholder to open, close or lock the automatic door, which is ideal where morning entry and afternoon lockup is required. These also come in an SK4 configuration which allows the user to activate the automatic door functions such as open, automatic, lock and manual.
    • Either wired or wireless configuration for push buttons.

These electronic security devices are ideal for staff in an office or commercial setting, and as a secondary actuation device for carers to open doors where the disabled individual controls the door via remote control. The electronic security devices we can provide for you can also act as emergency override exit buttons, and also where a site requires secure entry to a limited number of individuals.
